In the spirit of "Together, WE can make a difference!", the Women Everywhere: Partners in Service Project is a collaborative effort of nine women's Bar groups, working together to plan and coordinate volunteer activities on behalf of high school girls as well as women and children in need. Women Everywhere has incorporated as its own not-for-profit corporation.

Through WE, several hundred volunteers, including federal and state judges, attorneys, and friends of the legal community donate time to the Educational Program and the Community Service Day.

THE ANNUAL PROJECTS

As in past years, the WE project is a two part effort:

(1) our Education Program for high school girls will focus on women from the past and present with an emphasis on strides toward equality in voting and employment, and will include activities such as courthouse tours, mock trials, speakers, and panelists; and

(2) our Community Service Day will include hundreds of volunteers helping women and children in need at approximately 30 Chicagoland agencies with direct service tasks such as painting, building, gardening or cleaning, as well as educational activities such as topical seminars.

THE WE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Our Women Everywhere College Scholarship provides financial help to two enthusiastic college-bound high school girls who want to make a difference. We welcome contributions to our scholarship fund.
